Jim Boo grew up in Mahtomedi, MN. He attended the University of Minnesota where he played hockey for the Minnesota Gophers. He later played professional hockey with the Minnesota North Stars under the legendary coaching of Herb Brooks.
In 1993 Jim with his wife Tracy, founded Team Boo LLC. a real estate franchise with High Pointe Realty.
